"Dandadan" is a thrilling action-adventure fantasy anime that follows the story of Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, two high school students who stumble upon a hidden world filled with supernatural beings and unexpected challenges. After encountering a mysterious entity, they find themselves entangled in a web of paranormal phenomena, including aliens, ghosts, and bizarre creatures. With a blend of humor, horror, and heart-pounding action, Momo and Ken must navigate this chaotic world while discovering their own hidden strengths and forming an unbreakable bond. After being harshly rejected, Momo Ayase finds herself sulking when she comes across a boy being bullied. In an act of impulsive kindness, she intervenes, and the alien-obsessed boy seizes the opportunity to talk to her about their shared interest in extraterrestrial life. However, Ayase, a firm believer in ghosts, dismisses his claims, starting an argument about whose interests are more valid. In a bet to determine who is correct, they decide to separately visit locations associated with both the extraterrestrial and the supernatural—Ayase takes on the former, while the boy ventures to the latter. When they reach their respective destinations, they discover that neither was wrong; both aliens and ghosts exist. This marks the beginning of Ayase and the boy's adventure as they work to fix the surreal, supernatural, and extraterrestrial disruptions around them in hopes of returning to a normal life.
